Video tapping for leap class

When we were told to do a project video for LEAP class,  I and my friends discussing the tittle of the video that we will make. But, we never found the suitable video until So, before the submission day, we decided to hunt the most famous foods around Johor Bahru. The foods that we hunt is Banana Cheese (Taman Sri Pulai) and Satay (Kampung Melayu) and the most famous foods in Kampung Melayu  which is an ABC and Murtabak. We spend around RM 30.00 to buy the foods. For us, the prices of the foods were not too expensive and it really affordable for us as a students.

My favourite actor

One of the actors who made the greatest impression on me is Johnny Depp. I like his acting very much. All his characters are bright individuals. And it seems to me Johnny Depp plays them brilliantly. Johnny Depp played many interesting roles but my favourite character is Captain Jack Sparrow from the sequel Pirates of the Caribbean. In 2004 Depp earned an Academy Award nomination for his starring role as Captain Jack Sparrow. Initially, Jack Sparrow was supposed to be a comic hero, an eternal loser who is completely sure in his irresistibility. But in the preparatory process and during the work on the film Jack’s character has changed. It happened thanks to Depp. 

my good trait

My good trait is my Creativity. I am able to push it to the max when needed or suppress it as needed. The origins of my creativity come from different sources. The media such as TV and internet are major sources for me as many of my ideas are based on what is in the media. A smaller source for me was also reading books as I also gain ideas from there but it’s to a lesser degree. I am personally responsible for keeping up my own creativity and no one else does so. I must keep it up by looking for new concepts and ideas constantly. I believe that the theory of Functionalism applies in this case. 

the most scary moment in my life

The most memorable moment of my life happened to be the most terrifying. About 4 years ago,   I was lying down in bed playing Xbox, and I got up to grab a drink from my mini fridge when I saw an unfamiliar car pull up in front of my house, the blinds were mainly closed and I had my lights off. I noticed a man who I had never seen before get out of the car and put on a mask and started walking up the driveway. This is when I began to shit myself, I now remembered that I left the front door unlocked and was scared for my life. My door has some kind of material under it so when it slides across the floor it makes a large sound. When I heard the door open I ran into my closet. After that I saw my brother laughing at me. He tries to scare me with that mask. haha

The things that i hate about doing group work.

In situations where I am the only one affected by whether or not I do my homework, I admit that I tend to procrastinate. However, when I know that other people are depending on me, I do my work more efficiently and always complete tasks early or on time. Unfortunately, this is not everyone’s mentality. Even if I do my part on time, if my team mate waits until the last minute to complete their tasks then our project will wind up looking sloppy and thrown together. So this thing can affect my grade and my marks. So this kind of people I don’t like to work with.

The most interesting place that you have ever visited.

 Every moment, when I recall them in my mind, they appear to be fresh. I cannot make myself believe that I already passed those times and will never be in the same time again. A chill runs down my spine awaking all my senses till date when I remember them. Last summer my family and I went to London for a vacation. My mother give me a responsibility to book all the tickets and plan for the vacation. I took almost 4 hours in front of the computer searching for the place that most interesting. As I big fan of football I really want to go to Emirates Stadium in north London. 

My ambition

As a normal person, I also have my own ambition. My ambition is to become an engineer. It is not just an ambition but I want it to become a reality to my life. It is true that six  year of hard work are required to become an engineer, but after of six years of college studying engineering, I can make good money. In fact, engineering is one of the few fields that I can earn good pay after only three years. Right now, three years might sound like a long time, but it's worth it. Consider it one of the best investment you can make. Besides, it's not all about the money. It is also an interesting work that I can gain many experiences and knowledge in this field.

most interesting place that i ever visited

Manukan Island is located in Sabah which is at downtown Kota Kinabalu area. To go to the Island, it took 10 minutes walking from Hyatt Regency to the  Kinabalu jetty at Jesselton Point  which is formerly Sabah Port Authority ferry terminal. Pulau Manukan is one of interesting place I ever visited. The beach in Pulau Manukan has that spectacular view with the white sand and blue color water. it is also have colourful marine life that you can find underneath it. Usually, people come here for diving and snorkelling.  There is also a resort on the island called Manukan Island Resort. Other than snorkelling and diving there are also others activities such as water-based activity centre like kayak. I just had the chances to dive since I don’t have much time for the other activity. Overall, I can say that the beach is quite nice.

Videotaping experience for LEAP class

At first, we are run out of idea to choose the topic for our videotaping for LEAP class. My group members are Nazirah Binti Adnan and Nurmuhaizah. We are all agree to cook some dish for hi-tea. So we decided to ask one of our coursemate to took our video.  From the beginning,  I found that it is not easy to do something when there are someone taking our video. We couldn’t speaks as well and a lit bit nervous till I did some wrong thing when doing my parts. Finally, we had the problem in editing the video. The video was took part by part and we have to compile it become 1. It tooks about one hour to complete the editing.

My boring holiday while waiting for spm results

Nothing much I want to say because most of the time while waiting for my SPM results I just sat at home watching television. I know that most of people are having their holiday with family or visited their village, but mine is difference and easy than other. Besides watching television, I also helping my mom do cleaning and cooking.  On the other hand, I went to meet and hangout with my friends at Starbuck or watching movie or went to the beach to see sunset. In addition, I also surfing internet to get more information about further studies to university , playing game, facebooking and twittering. 

My bad and good traits

Oh my god, I feel ashamed to let everyone know that I am an emotional person. I get angry easily always. I cannot listen to people who talk loud and and arrogant and the most important is, I really realy don’t like people who lied to me. This could make my emotional level on the highest level. But in an opposite way I’m also have a good trait which is very nice person. It is not that I want to compliment myself but it is true and wonderful thing about me. When someone ask me for a favor , I can say that 90% I’ll never be disappoint she/him. I can be also so cheerful just to make sad people to be happy again like before

My ambition

When I was a kid, I have so many ambitions. There are such as police, teacher, engineer and I couldn’t remember what the others. So when I grew up, I did not know what would I be and which one is my real ambition is until my mom said she would loves if I can be an engineer one day. Instead of listening to my eldest brother who asked me to be a pilot, I’ve chose to be an engineer. I chose to be engineer  instead of pilot first is because the course to be pilot is too expensive than engineering course. Besides that, I don’t like to work in office. I rather do thing outdoor so I can feel the tiredness and more energy used when I working outdoor such as go to site and all. In addition, the higher my education is, the higher my salary I can get so that I can bring my mom to Makkah to perform her hajj. 

my most favourite actor

My most favourite actor is Zachary David Alexander Efron or well known as Zac Efron. Well, I know it is typical when girls like and love Zac Efron. He is so handsome with a good smile which make girls melting. Some more, He has that wonderful blue eyes, brown hair and muscular body. In addition, his role in every scene was  pretty good. If im not mistaken, I started to love him when I watched high school musical but I like him the most when he acting in Charlie St. Cloud which show that he loves his brother and feel guilty because his brother dead in car accident. I just cannot wait for his becoming new movie in this year “We Are Your Friends”.

things i like and hate about doing group work

Assalamualaikum and hi! Today I would like to share about what I likes n dislikes when doing group work.  There are some reasons why I really like doing teamworks such as gains difference ideas from each one of the teammates. We can always helping each other in group work also. It is also can develops our listening and speaking skills. But there are also some reasons why I don’t like doing a group work. Some of the members cannot be punctual to the group meeting as the others have to wait until everyone come and start the meeting. It will waste our time and also will also cause the other group members get angry and cannot doing a good work while meeting. On the other hand, there will be someone did not focus when the other members share their ideas which will cause he or she don’t understand things. Sometimes, there will be conflict happen in group just because they cannot agreed with the ideas from the other member.

the sad moment in my life

I would like to share about the most sad moment in my life. It tooks few hours to get into this because I just not strong enough to write about this. It is about my late dad, Ramli bin Ahmad who has passed away 2 years ago. That was the time I am still in diploma UTMKL. If Im not mistaken, I was on my fourth semester. On Febuary 5^th, I received a whatsapp text from my sister which is from Miri Sarawak telling that daddy was admitted to Hospital Serdang due to heart attack. My uncle who was take care of my dad did not tell me because he scared will disturb my studies. So on the same day, I went to the hospital to see him. Once I reached the hospital and went to the Coronary Care Unit(CCU) ,my heart beats faster more than it usually beats and I started to cry when I saw dad in the room with the life support machine. Doctor came and told me that he don’t want to lie to me, he said that he had done so much to save my dad but the remaining just pray for his recovery. On Febuary 6^th at 12 am I received a call from my aunt, telling that dad just pass away. My tears drop that I can’t believe dad gone too soon. My heart feel empty, I can’t believe that I cannot talk to him anymore, I can’t believe that I can’t see his smile anymore, I can’t believe all this. But I know that Allah loves him more than us do. From Him we come and to Him we return, Al fatihah dad, I miss you so much that it hurts.

my experience on orientation week

It’s been  awhile since I stopped writing to my blog cause I was busy before with my final exam. I just finished my exam two days ago and only now I have time to write again. So here’s my second blog about experience on my orientation week. In diploma I was second intake so there are no such orientation day for me and all the second intake students. Honestly said,in degree I was absent on my orientation week because I never like to go because for me it is boring and nothing special about it. The most things I dislike about going to orientation is the speeches. It took so long hours just to finish the speeches. So that why I decided not to go to orientation.Only when I need to register my subjects then I will go. Eventhough I have not much experiences on my orientation week but from there I can met new friends from difference states and had the chances to know each other such as where are their previous university, what makes their chose UTM and many more.

problem faced when learning english

This time in my blog, I'm going to write about my difficulties in learning English. Well basically for one reason, is because I don't practice or regularly speak English neither at home nor with my friends. It's the most general reason actually why most people have difficulty speaking any kind of language, "less practice, less knowledge".

So when it comes to learning the English language, many obstacles come in the way such as the meaning, how to use it in a sentence, spelling, pronunciation and so on. It takes awhile to fully master a new language and English is one of them for me. I may know a few words and its meaning but not to fully understand its usage. Its especially hard to learn with friends who are of the same standards in the use of the English language, and turns out to be a "broken" way of speaking or not in an arranged sentence. I didn't get the chance to learn it in early age as well so its another disadvantage for me. It's also difficult for me to understand a person if he/she is talking too fast or at a faster pace compared to mine. Another thing i know about the English language is their extensive vocabulary and complicated grammar. Some words may have more than one meaning or as of the same meaning for example: lend and borrow. Lend means "grant to (someone) the use of (something) on understanding it shall be returned", and borrow means "take and use (something that belongs to someone else) with the intention of returning it.", not forgetting the use of past, present, future tenses. I've written quite a long part for this and i think i shall end it here. Thanks for reading. Till my next blog.
