This time in my blog, I'm going to write about my
difficulties in learning English. Well basically for one reason, is because I
don't practice or regularly speak English neither at home nor with my friends.
It's the most general reason actually why most people have difficulty speaking
any kind of language, "less practice, less knowledge".
So when it comes to learning the English language, many obstacles come
in the way such as the meaning, how to use it in a sentence, spelling,
pronunciation and so on. It takes awhile to fully master a new language and
English is one of them for me. I may know a few words and its meaning but not
to fully understand its usage. Its especially hard to learn with friends who
are of the same standards in the use of the English language, and turns out to
be a "broken" way of speaking or not in an arranged sentence. I
didn't get the chance to learn it in early age as well so its another
disadvantage for me. It's also difficult for me to understand a person if
he/she is talking too fast or at a faster pace compared to mine. Another thing
i know about the English language is their extensive vocabulary and complicated
grammar. Some words may have more than one meaning or as of the same meaning
for example: lend and borrow. Lend means "grant to (someone) the use of
(something) on understanding it shall be returned", and borrow means
"take and use (something that belongs to someone else) with the intention
of returning it.", not forgetting the use of past, present, future tenses.
I've written quite a long part for this and i think i shall end it here. Thanks
for reading. Till my next blog.
