The Vendetta

            The widow of paolo saverini lived in Bonifacia with her son Antonia and a dog semillante.  Their house was out jutting the mountain and the coast could be seen from their house.  One night, his son went out with Nicolas Ravolati to Sardinia.  However, a quarrel was happen and Antonia was stabbed by Nicolas Ravolati.  Saverini’s neighbor had brought her son dead body to her.  She just stayed there motionless but she didn’t cry.  Then she promise a revenge for her son.  Every day she think on how to make a revenge.  But she didn’t know how to make a revenge alone.  Luckily she got an idea.  Then she go to the church to ask for help from god.  Her plan was to train semillante.  She never give any food to the dog for a long period.  The dog was famished.  Then mother saverini took old rags which had been worn by her husband and stuffed them so as to make them look like a human body.  She put sausage at that dummy that look like a tie. That famished dog rushed to that dummy and tear off all the part of dummy and got that sausage.  She trained the dog regarding this thing for about three month.  After that, she and semillante went to the other side of the straits for her son’s revenge.  She didn’t give any food to the dog for two days.  Along with her also a bag that full of sausage.  She let the sausage whetted the dog appetite.  They got to longosardo where the place  Nicolas Ravolati working with.  Nicolas Ravolati was working alone at the back of baker’s shop store when they arrived.  Then she released her dog and asked the dog to eat him.  The dog rushed towards Nicolas Ravolati and killed him.  Mother saverini gave the dog the sausage as a reward.  Lastly, she went home happily and slept peacefully on that night.
