This short story is about Walter Mitty that has heroic daydreams than paying attention to the real world. Firstly, he dreaming he is as pilot of U.S Navy of flying boat in a storm. Then, he imagines as famous doctor that trying to surgery on the millionaire and a friend of the president. Next, Walter Mitty dreams himself as deadly assassin testifying in a courtroom that he can killed a people using his left hand from three hundred feet away. After that, he fantasizes that he is an Air Captain, willing to sacrifice his own life for the good of his country.
